G’day Sew & Sews and welcome to my channel. I’m stoked you’re here because I think you’re going to love how we do this gorgeous little boxy bag. Even better, it’s a free pattern. This is a step by step tutorial and I’ve made it as easy as can be. The way we’re going to put this together means there’s no binding/bias tape to do on the corners and if you’re like me, and you struggle getting it perfect then that’s a plus! I really recommend you don’t go smaller than the measurements I used today and if you’re really new to boxed corners (or haven’t done them at all before) then maybe even go a little bigger, maybe 12 x 9 inches. Also try to use fusible fleece like I did. If you use a woven iron on it will be difficult to get the corners right so I wouldn’t recommend that. I used cotton woven as my fabrics and I’ve time stamped the video so you can replay anything you need to easily. I’ve also done another video explaining how to do the math to make the Boxy Bag in any size, here’s the link for that, otherwise just use my measurements below.
