Healed from Lyme Disease After 4 Years | Sophie’s Testimony | Jesus Image

In 2021, Sophie started to experience inexplainable symptoms that progressed quickly to constant pain, brain fog, blood clots, and mini-strokes, which left her nearly bedridden. She was part of Circuit Riders at the time, loved to run, and lived an active life. Sophie felt hopeless in this unknown. After several years, she was eventually diagnosed with Lyme disease and several other complications. Each day was a battle to do things that had once been routine. Suffering with chronic illness had Sophie in place where she stopped dreaming — it also made it hard to keep showing up with faith to believe for healing. By 2024, she was left wondering if her life would be spent at the doctors, how she would ever hold a job, or be a mom one day. Sophie was unable to drive a car for more than 10 minutes without breaking down in pain, she could barely walk, let alone run, and she couldn’t read her Bible because of the intense brain fog. Her and her mom, who happened to be a Jesus School student, started discussing plans for her to return home. Her mom encouraged her to go to the Jesus Night that Jesus Image was holding in Orange County, California. Sophie had other plans that night, but felt an urging from the Lord to be there. From the moment she arrived, she felt the Lord moving in clarity and peace about her future, though she still stood there physically in pain and the unknown. While taking communion towards the end of the Jesus Night, no one touching her, she immediately started to feel a heat all over her body as the Holy Spirit began to move. Pastor Michael gave a word of knowledge that there was a Circuit Rider in the room who had a chronic disease that come out of nowhere, but said this person is going to start to feel a heat because God wants to make you whole tonight. She had never experienced the presence of God in this way. Later Pastor Michael asked if there was a Circuit Rider with a chronic illness, Sophie raised her hand and came up for prayer. Without knowing what she suffered with, the first thing he called out was Lyme disease. During and after the prayer, she felt the Holy Spirit all over her, like her body was being washed clean of disease. As Sophie returned to her seat, she knew something had shifted, she knew she had been healed. Since November 15, 2024, Sophie has been COMPLETELY symptom-free. She has been running, living pain-free, peaceful, and she has hope for her future. Thank YOU, Jesus!!! Thank You, for being present in both suffering and healing. He is faithful — the blood of Jesus speaks a better word than any diagnosis.
