Spurn Point Lighthouses

Spurn Point Lighthouse, marking the entrance to the River Humber, from the North Sea. The lighthouse can be seen very briefly in the Only fools and horses episode 'To Hull and back'. The lens shown in the video was the second and last to be installed in the tower. The apparatus was installed so that the lighthouse could be automated - it was cared for by the Lifeboat Crews until discontinued in 1985. Further down in the tower there was a set of sector lights similar to those at Dungeness, but the location of these is not known.
