依山傍海，這座融合「自然、藝術與建築」的藝術園區，由在台灣與德國執業的建築師林友寒，與藝術家江賢二共同設計，以江賢二的鋼雕作品〈13.5〉為發想原型。 在影片中，兩人回顧這段協作歷程：從最初江賢二提出的理念——「希望園區能充分展現大自然的美，而不只是展示藝術品的空間」——到他親自為每一個角落注入獨到的美學；林友寒則思考，如何打造一處既能保有江賢二創作時所需的靜謐與自由，又能開放給大眾參訪的場域。 這座由江賢二畫室逐步擴建而成的園區，不僅承載他對自然與藝術的想像，更是他畢生最大、最完整的作品。 Nestled between mountain and ocean, this art center—where nature, art, and architecture converge—was co-designed by architect Yu-Han Michael Lin, who practices in both Taiwan and Germany, and artist Paul Chiang. The design was inspired by Chiang’s steel sculpture Farm House. In this video, the two reflect on their collaboration: from Chiang’s original thought—“The art center should embrace the beauty of nature, not just be a space to display artworks”—to how he infused every corner with his distinctive aesthetic. Lin, in turn, considered how to create a space that could both preserve the quiet and freedom Chiang needed for creation, and welcome the public into it.
