Mass grave location in Bucha, Ukraine

This is the grave of more than 300 people who were murdered by the Russian occupation forces in Bucha, a town to the north west of Kiev. The grave was first reported on 10 March 2022 by satellite photographic company Maxar Technologies - that is to say three weeks before the town was liberated. The grave is behind the church we see in the video. The local priest said the bodies had been moved to the site after reporting that the rotten corpses were being feasted upon by dogs in apocalyptic scenes. Images had previously showed the bodies of civilians scattered in the road and in shallow graves — many with bound hands and signs of torture. Some of them had died from wounds, others had been shot from close range. The Kremlin has rather sickly suggested that the murder victims are 'actors' despite the bodies have been recorded on satellite imagery well before liberation.
