This is part three of the first masterclass series Regenerate Now is running to compliment it's instagram takeover stories and Farmers in the Field mentoring, so we can further learn together to find out about the biological engine that works in our soils and how best to interact with this in our growing, buying and land management opportunities. Our host Sarah Smuts-Kennedy is an artist who discovered the term syntropy in 2010 as part of her research into biodynamic gardening. She founded For The Love Of Bees in 2016 and in 2020 she is helping grow radical hope, from soil to atmosphere through food with Regenerate Now, a For The Love Of Bees lead project with the Urban Farmers Alliance. Our mentor Daniel Schuurman has 50 years of horticultural experience, his focus as an agronomist is on maximising production methods that still mitigate climate change leading to better ecological outcomes than conventional farming as well as improving profitability. He is a trustee on For The Love Of Bees and sees great potential in the uptake of regenerative growing in urban centres.
