The Hon Sunny Tan, Chairman of the Hong Kong Productivity Council, opined that Hong Kong need to integrate itself into the overall development of the country and support new quality productive forces. By evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of the city, Hong Kong could better leverage its strengths. Irina Fan, Director of Research of Hong Kong Trade Development Council, suggested businesses maintain their global competitiveness by focusing on risk diversification, innovation and technology, and sustainability. Professor Geng Xiao, Associate Dean of School of Public Policy of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Chairman of the Hong Kong Institution for International Finance, remarked that, in the future, Hong Kong need to build new bridges between the Mainland, ASEAN, the Middle East, and everywhere around the world.
