Solstice Concert 2022, La Voirie, Biel/Bienne, Switzerland Excerpt 1: Dusk, recorded at sunset of 21.12.2022. With Regina Dürig, Frank Heierli, Christian Müller, Annette Schmucki, Boris Shershenkov and Stefan Thut. An experimental music night marked by length, slowness, immersion, and insistence. December 21st is the Longest Night of the year. Invited by the Biel musician and composer Christian Müller, a 6-piece ensemble of well-known musicians, performers and artists from the contemporary improvisation and experimental scene played a fifteen-and-a-half hours concert together from sunset to sunrise. The ensemble connects musicians with different stylistic approaches and backgrounds. It was electroacoustic and, with the inclusion of narratives, had an interdisciplinary character. The audience could come and go throughout the concert as live spatial sound installation and choose their own listening focus.
