西安湘子廟位於碑林區湘子廟街18號，傳為八仙中韓湘子出家得道之地，是西安現存唯一道教祖師廟。廟始建於宋，明重修，佔地兩畝半，由廣場、山門、靈官殿、湘祖殿等組成。院內「香泉」傳為韓湘子化苦水為美酒所留，還有兩株曾二次開花的古槐。現免費開放，是探尋湘子文化與道教歷史的重要場所，每年會舉辦慶賀湘祖聖誕等法會，求姻緣習俗也頗具特色。 Xi'an Xiangzi Temple is located at No. 18, Xiangzi Temple Street, Beilin District. It is said to be the place where Han Xiangzi among the Eight Immortals became a Taoist and attained enlightenment. It is the only existing Taoist ancestral temple in Xi'an. The temple was first built in the Song Dynasty and renovated in the Ming Dynasty. It covers an area of two and a half mu and consists of a square, a mountain gate, the Lingguan Hall, the Xiangzu Hall, etc. The "Fragrant Spring" in the temple is said to be left by Han Xiangzi when he turned bitter water into fine wine. There are also two ancient pagoda trees that have flowered twice. It is now open to the public free of charge. It is an important place to explore Xiangzi culture and the history of Taoism. Every year, Dharma assemblies such as celebrating the birthday of Xiangzu are held, and the custom of praying for marriage is also quite distinctive.
