Let's check out some great museums and places to visit in northern Osaka's Expo '70 Commemorative Park! The site was the host of the 1970 World Expo, but has had a great afterlife as a huge public park in northern Osaka's Suita City. As well as being next to the huge Expo City shopping mall, Ferris Wheel and Interactive Aquarium Nifrel, the park itself has its own treasures. Today we will look inside the iconic Tower of the Sun, the Expo '70 Pavilion housed in its old Steel Pavilion, and Minpaku, the nickname for the National Museum of Ethnology. The park is accessible by the Osaka Monorail, which has a few intersections with other train services, like the Osaka Metro/Kitakyu at Senri Chuo, and Hankyu Railway at Minami-Ibaraki. The monorail can also take you right to Itami Airport too!
