Harvesting occurs in early summer when the flowers are in full bloom, using a chamomile harvester attached to a tractor. Post-harvest, the flowers are transported to a processing facility where they undergo drying, separation, and sorting to maintain quality. This involves using a chamomile head flower separator, vibrational sieves, and pneumatic separators to ensure the flowers are free from unwanted materials. Further processing includes grinding into powders and separating essential oils through steam distillation. The final products are rigorously tested for quality and packed for market distribution.
