I went in with low expectations and left calling it another treasure: my rating is 9/10 (IMDb: 7.4). In this video I break down why this movie still crackles today: A whip-smart parody of Westerns that mixes comedy, adventure, musical cues, and delightfully chaotic, cartoon-inspired staging. Editing and rhythm that feel ahead of their time — you can see the DNA of later slapstick and meta-humor. Spectacular sets, bold visual gags, and a playful color-scheme game that keeps the screen popping. Well-thought-out characters anchoring the absurdity (with Vladimír Menšík, who also stars in Happy End). I even float a hypothesis: some of the tone and comedic energy may have influenced They Call Me Trinity (1970) and Trinity Is Still My Name (1971).
