Vintage Kelly Dandenong Axe vs Big Snow Gum Log

My effort for the big log challenge, as part of this year's Axe Cordwood Challenge 2022. The log is a seasoned snow gum trunk of 21 inches at the thick end where the cut was made. In the high country snow gum is a low growing tree with almost prostrate growth habit, but in my region of volcanic plains it grows into a very tall tree with beautifully patterned bark. The axe is a restored Kelly Dandenong Tassie pattern, weighing 4.5 pounds, and made in Australia during the mid 20th century and hung by me on a spotted gum handle. These were professional-grade forestry axes when they were originally sold. Took me around an hour to complete this challenge.
