🇿🇦 Riding the Big 3: In this series I ride the Big 3, the Swartberg Pass, the Baviaanskloof and the Prince Alfred's Pass. All were built by master road builder, Thomas Bain. This is a 2200 km journey from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth and back ridden over 8 days on 11-19 Oct 2025. In this tenth video I depart from Uitspan Guest Farm to exit the Baviaanskloof through the beautiful Nuwekloof Pass. This takes me to the interesting Karoo town of Uniondale where I visit the largest water mill in South Africa, admire the beautiful Dutch Reformed Church and visit the restored Boer Fort on the outskirts of Uniondale. Finally, I take the beautiful Queen Street road to the town of Avontuur.
