Narendra Modi today addressed a Bharat Vijay Rally at Jamshedpur in Jharkhand, where a huge crowd greets him. The charismatic BJP leader applauds the sea of people saying, "I urge all political pundits to see the ocean of people in Jamshedpur; you will know in which direction the wind is blowing!" The BJP's prime ministerial candidate attacked the UPA government and the state government, alleging that lack of Vision has deterred industrial development in the region. He pointed out the unfairness of the Indian system, "We export wheat but are importing chappatis (bread), we export iron ore but are importing steel!" Modi said this is failure on the part of Congress. He challenged Sonia Gandhi, "Madam Soniaji, you are a mother, at least accept your failures!" Taking a jab at Sonia Gandhi's "magician" remark, Modi said that only time will show if BJP has a magician or not. But, he said referring to black money and corruption scam under the UPA rule, that it is because of the "black magic" of the Congress that India's youth is unemployed and farmers are suffering. Sonia Gandhi had earlier in an election public meet had said that "Modi is being projected as a magician." Narendra Modi then lashed out at the opposition for empty assurances and unfulfilled promises. He reiterated the manifesto jibe, saying that the Congress releases a Dhokapatra every time. The Gujarat Chief Minister went back to his roots explaining to the people that since he had grown up being poor he understood the problems and the plights of the poor people. He said he would be able to serve for the welfare of the poor. Invoking Mahatma Gandhi's words, Modi said, "Gandhiji had said that the country did not need Congress after Independence and called for destroying it." Concluding his speech, Modi encouraged the people to fulfill Bapu's dream and work towards a Congress-free India. He said the nation would be develop only if there was a strong government at the Centre. Soon after Jamshedpur, Narendra Modi flew to Bihar to address another rally in the day. The public meeting was held at Jehanabad in the state. Here, the BJP leader raised similar issues, marking the concerns of the farmers and soldiers. He lashed out at the UPA government for failing to provide better life to kisans and jawaans of India. He said that problems of the people existed not because of lack of hardwork but because the government in Delhi did not care. Modi said youth wanted jobs and farmers must be given the right prices. He urged the people top vote wisely.
