Filmed in an unnamed biscuit factory in Cricklewood, Greater London. Panning shot of the interior of a biscuit factory. Several workers are seen, they wear little chef's cap. Jokes are made about how none of us can live without "dough". Shots of all the various processes that the dough goes through to become biscuits. The narrator explains all the processes and provides facts and figures about the output of the factory, the raw materials which go into making the biscuits etc. Narrator explains that modern machinery can perform many of the tasks much faster than the human hand. Nice footage of women at work, packing biscuits, weighing them and a nice shot of a group of them washing their hands at a communal washing area. Tins of biscuits are seen travelling along a conveyor belt. Note: nicely shot footage. FILM ID:1592.2 A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
