While there, the fact that these beings are responsible (ostensibly at least) for the Clone Wars and the deaths of countless beings comes somewhat secondary to the fact Nute tried to have his wife murdered in her sleep. Ironic. He could deliver a talk about the murder of other beings in their sleep, but couldn't take the attempted murder of his wife.
