In preparation for the Blue Impulse's demonstration flights at air festivals held all over the country, you can see them performing acrobatic flights over Matsushima Air Base and flight training over the ocean.There are also days when pre-training is held to confirm the program for the planned demonstration flights. On February 17, 2026, the Blue Impulse is scheduled to conduct aerial training over Matsushima Air Base at 8: 00, and 10: 30 JST. However, due to weather or other reasons, the training may be changed to offshore training or the flight itself may be canceled.
