A Family Journey Through Europe – Letting Go and Finding Peace

This video tells the story of a once-in-a-lifetime trip I took with my mother and sister to celebrate my sister’s graduation and reconnect with our roots. We travelled through Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and spent two unforgettable weeks in Santorini. We visited family members we hadn’t seen in decades, discovered places from my mother’s past, and created memories that will stay with us forever. At the time, I was going through a difficult phase in my life. I had decided to leave Germany and return to Argentina after five years abroad. But travelling with my family—sharing conversations, laughter and silence—slowly brought colour back into my life. In Santorini I was finally able to slow down, reflect on my achievements, and let go of unrealistic expectations. In Munich I made the decision to stop overthinking and start living with more peace and presence. There was also a deeper reason behind this trip. We were supposed to do it with my father, who passed away a year earlier. So we travelled not only for ourselves, but also for him. This story is about family, memory, grief, perspective and the quiet decision to enjoy life again. It’s about reconnecting—with places, with people, and with ourselves.
