Blethering Ben - 73 - The Tarmachan Ridge

With the warmer months behind us and the first cold days surfacing, I again feel the call of the hills. I finally stir from my summer slumber and head up the road to my usual 'go to' autumn favourite - the Ben Lawers National Nature Reserve. But because it's been 7 months since my last blog on North Uist I wonder whether I'll be out of practice, but the blethering comes thick and fast as we race through all manner of subject matter - autumn weather, access rights, hill tracks, rutting deer, old age and a number of other random things. It's good to be back!!
