This is Daphne Quy your Boss Lady Realtor here in Central Texas. In today's video, we're going to explore Olmos Park, one of my favorite neighborhoods in San Antonio, Texas. Olmos Park is located just north of East Hildebran and HWY 281. Olmos Park sits on the3 Olmos Basin which has tons of walking trails. There's even a walking trail that leads to the Quarry shopping center. The Quarry has a Whole Foods, which of course I'm a big fan of. Most of the homes in the area have a Spanish mission-style home or the more traditional colonial brick style. Most of the homes in the area are older and have a historic charm. The homes generally sit on larger lots with big back yards. Olmos Park has an old town feel with welcoming neighbors. People will wave to each other, so it's easy to make friends with your neighbors. Olmos Park is a suburb of San Antonio, but it is considered its own town. It has its own police and fire departments. Because Olmos Park is part of the Olmos Basin there are tons of untouched nature and Texas trees.
