𐔌՞ ܸ.ˬ.ܸ՞𐦯 Transit / Connecting Flight Guide from Tokyo to Osaka Hey guys! A little story about our experience having a Transit / Connecting Flight at Haneda, Tokyo to Itami, Osaka: We booked connecting flights that were 3 hours apart! Ie landing at Haneda at 9:20 am and departing to Itami at 12:30 pm. I would say it's good enough if your flight won't be delayed. Upon landing at Haneda, we had to clear the whole process ie Immigration, collecting of our luggages and (re) checking in our luggages but this time to the Domestic Flight counter. We were not expecting the Immigration queue to be SUPER long. Snake queue of I would say 7 long rows. We thought it would be fast because all of the counters were open but there was ALOT of people. We moved 1 row up after ~10 minutes and we knew we were not going to make it to our flight if we waited in queue. So, we asked a staff. I asked a staff and initially he allowed me. But I think he thought it was just me because when I called my family over, he suddenly changed his mind and made us go back in line..(?).. My dad asked a different staff and she was patient, she took the time to hear our situation and allowed all of us to go to a priority pass. Apparently it is allowed, and a normal procedure for people with tight connecting flight schedule. She seemed really concerned because we were at the immigration at 11:45 am and boarding for our flight to Itami was at 12:15 pm! Really thankful that she was open. Lesson learnt is to ask ask ask, especially if you experience our case. We cleared the immigration in about 10 minutes. When we wanted to collect our luggage, we realised that the staff had pre collected it for us and set it aside. Thankful! We approached them and they handed us a monorail ticket each! They said it will take us faster to Terminal 1 (we landed at Terminal 3) than the bus. You have to show the staff your monorail ticket when entering the train at T3! At T1, you have to pass the staff the ticket, so be sure to keep it safe and prepared! Fyi, check in for domestic flight at T1 is at level 2! We tried the machines but it didn't work so we went to the counter. We cleared security check pretty fast and we managed to reach our boarding gate with time to spare. Mind you, we were running the whole time! - - Just me, my camera, and a love for sharing life the old-school way - lots of talking to you directly, real moments, and travel adventures across South Korea 🇰🇷, Japan 🇯🇵, and beyond.
