Having spent the majority of his career in the Middle East, he brings a unique global perspective and a deep understanding of cross-cultural engagement to his work. His expertise is demonstrated through a diverse and impactful career. As a long-time host of "Nightline" on DubaiEye 103.8 FM, he spent over a decade engaging a live, international audience, mastering the art of real-time communication and public discourse. A passionate community catalyst, he founded and led CreativeMornings Dubai, organizing 77 events, and was a key organizer and speaker coach for multiple high-stakes TEDx conferences, where he mentored hundreds of speakers to find their voice and tell their stories with impact. In his role as Dean of the College of Communication and Media Sciences at Zayed University, James led a team of over 40 professionals and spearheaded a complete curriculum revitalization, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning. His leadership demonstrates a proven ability to manage complex projects, develop strategic partnerships, and drive institutional growth. Having recently returned to Canada, James is now focused on applying his unique global perspective and extensive experience to contribute to Canadian institutions and organizations. He holds a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Montreal, an M.A. in Political Science from Concordia University, and a B.A. in Mass Communication from Carleton University.
