As the canoe camping season gets back into the swing of things here in Canada, I wanted to share the full length version of my favourite canoe trip of 2023. This is a consolidation of the 2-part series 'Wells Gray Country', where we canoe camped through a remote section of wilderness in the incredible Wells Gray Provincial Park. Situated in the western shadow of the Rocky Mountains, Wells Gray is a 2000km wilderness park, famous among paddlers from across the world. While the park boasts a myriad paddling routes, our target for this trip was the mighty Murtle Lake. If you've already watched both parts of the series, thank you so much for your support.
