VR Shoe Build Log #51 - Support Rig Demo of Walking, Running, Crouching, Sitting and How It Works

In this build series I'm making a shoe to be used in virtual reality games. My goal is that the shoe will allow you to walk as much as you want in the virtual world while staying in the same spot in the real world. In this video I first demo walking, turning, running, crouching, sitting, and leaning. Then I explain how the upper part of the rig works (I went over the bottom part in the previous build log). There are still more improvements to make (I have a list of 16 of them), but I think it's coming along nicely. The one area that I'm a bit disappointed with is walking while turning. It's harder to do both at the same time with this rig than with my ceiling mounted rig. I believe this is because there is just more mass to move with this rig than with the other one. I have more improvements to make and some of them may make turning easier. Even so, turning while walking is not hard to do and I believe it is adequate, it's just not as easy as with my other rig.
