Dear Younger Me is my online offering for 2024. I’ve been planning this event for the past year and I’m EXCITED to collaborate with three of my dearest friends, Sarah McDugal - Wilderness to WILD, Megan Dawn Owen of Mountain City Christian Counseling, Corp., and Lauren Smallcomb of Flourish_therapy. We’ll focus on loving on and healing our younger parts. We will meet via ZOOM from 2-9 PM Eastern on Friday, November 15, with a dinner break from 5-7 PM. Are you unable to join us in person for the entire event? No worries! The video content will be available after the live event. Many of the survivors in our community have experienced abuse in our childhood homes, churches, and marriages. During our time together, we will explore what it means to extend compassion to our younger selves. What were the things we needed to hear when we were little girls, teenagers, and young wives? We'll replace the lies we have believed for so long with powerful truths. During Dear Younger Me, we will share snippets of our stories. We'll explore attachment styles, parentification, reparenting, forms of abuse, purity culture, and so much more. We will offer tools and resources to help you love on and heal your younger self.
