The Pan South African Language Board says more still needs to be done to ensure the inclusion of the deaf community. This, as the Board, the Education, and Arts and Culture departments gathered at the Efata school for the Blind and Deaf in Mthatha in the Eastern Cape. They are bringing to attention the plight of Deaf people as part of Deaf awareness month. The Education Department says it's also making strides to address challenges faced by the deaf community.
