What a better way to conclude the Easter Season than to celebrate the coming and outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Thanks to the Risen Lord! The first reading recounts to us what happened: Fifty days after the Resurrection, the Holy Spirit descended on the disciples who were waiting in the upper room. It was like a strong driving wind, which enveloped them. Tongues as of fire that rested on each of them. The Holy Spirit filled them and enabled them to proclaim the Good News in different tongues.
