Hey VC, back in the 90s yours truly had his own independent record label. It was called Mafia Money Records, and it existed (technically) from 1994-2000. I released 7" singles and full length CDs. Obviously, I didn't become rich and famous, and neither did any of the bands I worked with. But I don't care what anyone says, this stuff is as good as any indie or punk rock that was released from that period. Anyway, this video covers my first three releases. They are all 7" singles. I made videos for the songs with some performance footage, photos, and the artwork from the records. Here is what is shown: Hugh - "Crush" b/w "Henry's Daughter" (MMR-001) (1994) Ritual Device - "Live" (MMR-002) (1994) Ex-Action Figures - "The Great Divide" b/w "Lightbulb" (MMR-003) (1995) Unfortunately, none of these bands exist today. I just recently interviewed Dave Rosenheim, who used to be in the band Hugh, for my podcast, The Dark Stuff: http://thedarkstuff.podomatic.com. He now sings in a band called Winchester Revival. The next video in this series will cover releases 004-006. Let me know what you guys think.
