Epic Lingcod Fishing in Monterey with Native Anglers and Ish with Fish

A few weeks ago my buddy Ish with Fish texted me and told me about an open seat on a private boat that was going to be hitting the Pacific Ocean for Lingcod. Ish with Fish and I have been trying to get together for quite some time and I jumped at the chance. The owner of the Boat was Miguel from Native Anglers and you probably couldn't find another cooler guy to fish with. Miguel has been the Lingcod whisperer the last several months with multiple trips out with anglers landing numerous 10lb and teener Lingcod. Miguel himself recently landed a 30 pound Lingcod. Our trip got off to a great start in the morning. Within 15 Minutes I had caught 2 Lingcod and Ish's Uncle Joe 2 as well, one being a 12-13 pound hitchhiker which really go the boat pumped up. A few more minutes meant more and more fish and within an hour I had caught 4 Lingcod including one close to 10 pounds and Ish had 4 fish, and Joe had caught a few more as well. About an hour and half into the trip and the wind kicked up pretty bad so we decided to make our way back to the launch. Despite being cut short early, it was a great trip. I am looking forward to going back out again with Native Anglers and Ish with Fish.
