We unbox the new SHIELD02, an angle sensing demo board designed as an Arduino shield. The kit has a business card with links to the product manual and software. NVE’s TMR angle sensors are suitable for a variety of applications that require high-sensitivity, ultraminiature sensors that consume very little power. A fixture allows on-axis or various off-axis magnet positions. Angle sensors can be swapped via a card edge connection, allowing you to quickly try several different sensors with the same board. The shield is compatible with 12 NVE angle and rotation sensors. LEDs track the angle of the magnet either on-axis, or with different off-axis configurations. The program shows the precision of the sensors and has a few different LED color modes to keep you entertained.
