The re-release version coming out this past week on Steam/Switch/PS4-5 made me want to play this again for the first time in about 20 years. So I'm very rusty. Such a good game though, it was a cult hit back then and was pretty hard to find if I remember. I still have my copy in some box or other. The re-release price being $25 is a little silly, I think new shrinkwrapped copies cost $30 back then! Make it $15 and I'm there, even though it's not going to look half as good as how I'm emulating it here with the nice overlay and ambient effects. Being able to emulate a game has NEVER kept me from buying re-releases, but you do have to be reasonable about it. $25 for a port of a 20+ year old rom with no achievements or new modes isn't very enticing.
