Winners can join! THEME: In modern times, Mr. Sykes, a wealthy, Western billionaire has long had his eyes set on a mysteries lamp hidden deep within the shifting sands of Agrabah. Many have thought it a myth, part of an ancient fairytale, but upon finding one half of the golden beetle, said to be the key to the cave, he hires Rourke to locate the other half and lead an expedition to retrieve the lamp. The lamp is to remain a top secret, as the hired crew can't be trusted. Who knows who would seek the three wishes for themselves? All the crew is told is that they are to explore and scavenge the treasures inside. But of course, myth and rumor spread like wildfire in these camps~ WARNING: This is a dangerous expedition. Be prepared for character death. AUDITION: Your audition must show an employee profile of your character. They are to see the advertisement / hear about the opportunity from a friend / be offered a job by a head hunter. Your audition should show why your character should be picked for the expedition, and what skills and knowledge they contribute with. Are they part of the medical team? Are they an archeologist, cartogropher, local translator, etc. etc. etc.? Your audition should also show them being offered the job and ending with your character on a plane to Agrabah. RULES: Your character has to be at least 18 years old. non/Disney characters allowed. Mx Disney is not limited to Disney only characters. Your character must be from a film to make clips easier to find for your future contestants. Representative characters to show family or friends are allowed without having to claim these. Characters cannot be magical or have any special powers. All masks, effects, colorings, etc. must be your own. Once you have claimed a character, you have 7 days to enter your audition, or the claim will run out. You can still enter your audition after this, but if someone asks for your character before you do so, I am obliged to give the character away. Once your audition has been entered, your character will move from the claimed list to the taken list. IN YOUR AUDITION VIDEO: Video entry can be whichever length you want. The video must show your claimed character. Your character must have a reason for being offered a job - what kind of expertise were they picked for? Explain this. You must show how your character knew about this job opportunity. The video must end with your character flying to Agrabah. WHAT THE JUDGES ARE LOOKING FOR: Editing skill; masking, coloring etc. Storyline; do we want to see more of your character? Originality and creativity. Attention to detail; do you take the extra time for finishing touches? How well have the rules and information been followed? NOTE: Try to avoid plot points that have been done previously. Presenting a wholly original plot and character will help your chances of getting in! Note that the first audition with a certain plot point will not be punished for subsequent auditions being similar, but if you are the 5th audition to do a similar plot point, points will be reduced for lack of creativity.
