The meeting was attended by Home Minister Amit Shah, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval was also present to brief the committee on the strategic and security implications for India. The primary agenda of the meeting was the safe evacuation of thousands of Indians currently stranded in the conflict zones. The government is reportedly preparing a massive rescue operation, similar to 'Operation Ganga' or 'Operation Ajay', to ensure the safety of Indian expats.
