A little late to the party, but here is my clue 3 video for the 2025 Stephen West mystery knitalong. Background image by Camera-man via Pixabay --- Thoughts on spoilers during the mystery knitalong: So we were about halfway into the clue 3 week when I got the clue spoiled involuntarily because of a video that was recommended to me here on YouTube. The video was from a creator that I don't subscribe to. They had used a full on picture of their finished clue 3 as the video thumbnail. I quickly clicked away and ended up not daring to watch any YouTube for three days because I was afraid I would lose motivation to knit if I was continually spoiled. While knitting the rest of the clue I would sometimes think about the situation and it would make me sad. I went back to look at the video with the spoiler thumbnail a few days later and saw that several people had commented and asked that the creator change the thumbnail, but as I am writing this (27th Oct) nothing has been changed, and they even published their finished clue 4 in the same way. When we join the mystery knitalong we are encouraged to keep any posts on social media spoiler free for anyone who doesn't actively search for spoilers - at least during the week of the clue in question. This is a big part of the fun for a lot of us - the MYSTERY. I sincerely hope that going forward, creators will be more mindful of this. Sorry for being negative, but this really affected my knitting experience this last week.
