Tower of Fractured Memories (FIRST TERRIFYING) | EToH

My first terrifying tower, and the third instalment in the orb trilogy of towers. I chose to do this tower as the other towers around this difficulty seem ... Bad, and I also want to continue and beat the orb trilogy. however, my experience with this tower got REALLY unlucky and it devolved into my worst grind besides ToDC. The first half is kinda boring to loopfail over and over again, especially the first two or three floors. the second half of this tower is so much harder than the first half, and the gameplay overall is just a bit Weird at times. my sessions would often be a few hours long, stuck loopfailing floors 1-7. I don't want to go into exact detail but i had 3 f10 fails and 2 final jump fails (LIKE HOW?????????) which sucked so much. this tower took way longer than expected, as it felt pretty easy compared to totda when i first started practicing it. overall, i still recommend this tower as a bridge to terrifying. also there are a lot of grammatical errors in the text commentary LMAO i didnt bother to proofread it In-game Difficulty: Baseline Terrifying Personal Difficulty: it's okay as the baseline for terrifying Enjoyment Rating: 4/10 This would've been like a 7/10 if i didn't get unlucky and inconsistent in this tower. i practically had to rebeat this tower like 3 times, which was not fun at all. i also just didn't know how to do a some ofthe jumps in the second half consistently, which made me fail A LOT. Tower Rating: 8/10 I love this tower's theming a lot, which is epitomized in floor 10. The black hole looming under you while you traverse difficult jumps, waiting to consume you after you make a single mistake, is really cool. The music, too, is amazing, and everything adds up to build a very intense and special finale. The gameplay, for the most part, is decent and pretty varied. i don't really like floor 6 however, and floor 7 is really hard but not in a way that is too fun. some of the jumps are also kinda rng, and the first half of this tower is a bit of a drag to get through.
