This is a short demo of the pedalboard I use for my band »Dead Koys«. I wanted to show you some sound examples from original songs I create with different pedals. Trying to be more or less innovative in the big genre of emo/punk, I love to colour the raw guitar sound with some modulation effects and sometimes need – in a full band context – a boost or compressor for melodies, tapping parts or just a bigger sounding riff. All pedals are controlled by an A//B Loop Switch that has an invert function. So it is possible to activate either one or both loops, change from a to b / b to a via one step or turn off both at the same time when a and b are active. It's build and etched by Ken Foe Circuits, designed by me. Here is my signal chain: Fender '72 Telecaster Deluxe Reissue – Boss TU2 – Boss NS2 – A/B Loop Switch // Loop A: Ground Control Audio Blood Oath – Electro Harmonix Nano Clone – Old Blood Noise Endeavors Haunt Loop B: Earthquaker Devices Palisades – OBNE Mondegreen – Nano EHX Holy Grail // TC Electronics Ditto Looper – Blackstar HT20 Studio Head – Blackstar HTV 212 Cab – I recorded everything with a Shure SM58, a Line6 Toneport UX1 and Apple Garage Band. Video with a Canon 5D MKII and 550D. Editing in Garage Band, Premiere Pro and After Effects. Thank you to Lukas Böll (Instagram: @thetruehorsthauke) for helping out with filming! Hope you enjoyed the video and feel free to tell me some of your opinions, give me feedback or just let me know, if you're interested in a more detailed demo/review of some specific pedals! ❤ – Bandcamp: deadkoys.bandcamp.com Instagram: @harnfried
