First up, we have his Rolex Datejust, a modern reference on a Jubilee bracelet with a white gold fluted bezel, white dial, and Roman numerals. It's a watch that, despite its dressy aesthetic, can easily function as a sports watch, especially with its 100 meter water resistance and screw down crown. Brandon has chosen the Datejust in 36mm because, as he puts it, that's the size the Datejust always was, and that's, in his mind, the way it should be. Next up, we have the Cartier Tank Solo in yellow gold with the black leather strap. To him, the Tank represents a kind of bygone era of masculinity that is more in line with that of the 60s and 70s than anything truly modern. The small, elegant rectangular case, the stark black leather strap, and the beautiful Roman numerals on the dial all play into this vision of masculinity in a time when that leaned more into the refined than the rugged. Speaking of Cartier, and this dichotomy, Brandon also shows off his Cartier Juste Un Clou bracelet, which combined the industrial nature of the nail it is designed to represent with the elegance of 18k yellow gold.
