'(I Got) Luxury' is a song I wrote and recorded for my CD titled 'TENNESSEE STREET'. Somewhat intended to be in keeping with songs of the late 1920s and early 1930s, it is a short and simple song reminiscent of similar-type 78 records or the era. I designed and added my own label to finish it off. The song was inspired as I stood playing guitar, peering around my music room, and listing things as they came in my view; each a blessing, really. From my very small black cat that made an appearance, a photo of my 1968 E-Type, my 1932 National O-Series guitar, my aquarium of tropical fish and my massive music collection, to my then recently purchased Panasonic flat screen TV. The four maids serving my company of three was simply an expression of being so fortunate. Suddenly, there was a song. It all came together and happened in my music room within minutes. Although I copyrighted the song and registered it at the Library Of Congress Copyright Office in the USA back in 1996, to date, the song and my CD, TENNESSEE STREET, have never been made available publicly or released commercially. The flip side is also a song I wrote and recorded at the same session in 1996 titled 'It'll Be So Fine'. I recently will posted it on my Youtube channel as well. • IT'LL BE SO FINE - DAVID WITZER and His Gu... Copyright Library of Congress (1996) - All Rights Reserved
