The Atholl Highlanders prepare for inspection outside Blair Castle during the 2022 Atholl Highlanders Parade in Scotland. The Atholl Highlanders are under the command of Regimental Sergeant Major Graham Jack, who then hands over to the Officers ready for the march on of the regimental colours (flags). Inspecting the Highlanders is Michael Murray, Marquess of Tullibardine, eldest son of the Duke of Atholl. The Atholl Highlanders are a Scottish ceremonial infantry regiment and the only remaining private army in Europe.They act as the personal bodyguard to the Duke of Atholl, Chieftain of the Clan Murray and they are armed with Lee Metford rifles.
