The Test Way is a 44 mile long - distance footpath from the Chalk Downs at Inkpen in West Berkshire to Eling in Hampshire and follows much of the course of the River Test. This part of the walk takes me past Broadlands Estate - the home of the late Lord Mountbatten in the Test Valley near Romsey and on to Testwood Lakes. It’s a lovely walk with some great sights along the way including some lovely woodland at Broadlands, an interesting old barn at Ridge and the little St Boniface Church in Nursling. I finish my walk at Testwood Lakes at the tank traps where it was clearer today to see the two that have fallen into the river.
