I left Jamaica as a Registered Nurse fresh out of UWI and came to the United States with a clear goal to build a better life. I passed my NCLEX and became registered, but immigration issues prevented me from working as a nurse. Instead of giving up, I adapted and built a six-figure hair business from the ground up. But success came with a cost: long hours, constant hustle, burnout, and eventually a complete breakdown that forced me to face deeper healing. Over the last 4 years I have rebuilt my life, written my book, gone to coaching school, and started creating a life aligned with peace, purpose, and authenticity. This video is about resilience, reinvention, and the courage to choose yourself when the path you once believed in no longer serves you. If you’ve ever chased success abroad, struggled with immigration barriers, or had to rebuild your life from scratch this conversation is for you. My journey after becoming a registered nurse in Jamaica and moving to America for success was filled with unexpected turns. Despite passing my NCLEX, immigration challenges shifted my path, leading me to rebuild my life and explore how to make money online. This experience taught me about resilience, reinvention, and the importance of diverse income streams, including side hustles, to achieve true personal finance stability.
