Blackpool travelled to Bolton Wanderers in League One and produced one of the most dramatic away performances of the season. Bolton dominated the first half with wave after wave of pressure and what felt like 10 million corners, but Blackpool defended heroically to somehow reach half-time at 0-0. After going 1-0 down early in the second half, the Seasiders showed incredible character to turn the game around and lead 1-2, stunning the home crowd at the Toughsheet Community Stadium. Bolton equalised late on in the 85th minute, but Blackpool still created huge chances to win it: a goalmouth scramble, Ash Fletcher hitting the post from a tight angle, and a header inches over the bar from a late corner. It was a brilliant League One match full of drama, intensity, and emotion, and a well-deserved point for Blackpool who defended like trojans and were so unlucky not to take all three points.
