Fresno Police detail 2019's 20th homicide. Last year the city had 15 by this time

Fresno Police are releasing details about the city's 20th homicide of 2019 that happened early Friday morning. Just before 3 a.m., officers responded to the 1500 Block of North Eleventh Street for reports of a shooting victim. A Hispanic adult male in his mid to late 20s was found inside the car with a gunshot wound and declared dead at the scene. He has not yet been identified, according to Fresno PD. Three additional passengers of the victim’s car were located a short distance away. They were identified as a 38-year-old Hispanic male who also received a non life-threatening wound, and two adult females. Their names are not being released. Detectives are currently interviewing all of the passengers to determine a motive for this shooting.  Suspect information is not known at this time.
