First we start with Dip[ Dissolver made by Dipyourcar.com. This product has worked very well for me in the past when I had plasti-sipped my entire car twice over, and had some hard to remove areas. The dip that was taking me hours to sit and peel tiny piece by tiny piece, was being washed away with little to no scrubbing effort with this product. Yes it cost me a bit more than I would have liked to pay for it, but it works tremendously well, without eating away at the cars paint which is imperative. Next up we hit the wheel with some goo-gone. This does work a bit but its certainly a hassle scrubbing it hard to get some results. It also takes about double the goo-gone to get the same results as the dissolver, but it is way cheaper so no big problem there. Last is Brake Clean which honestly does just about nothing. It eats some of the real paint on the wheels but the plasti dip seems to hold up to it fairly well. That would definitely be an expensive and time consuming route to go.
