owens Hill Owens Hill campground is located on the shoreline of Lake Elidon around an hour and a half Drive out of Alexandra VICTORIA. The lake has 515 km shoreline and stores six times as much water as Sydney Harbour at full supply level. There are many camps to choose from, all with their own toilet. We chose Owens Hill campsite as the comments on wikicamps were very positive, but the camp was a bit further past many of the other camps that also looked great! We were so glad we kept driving out to Owens Hill. The camp was absolutely stunning, scenic views of the water 💧and surrounding mountains ⛰ , very peaceful 🤫, lots of wildlife around 🦅 🦘 and great weather this time of year ☀️ We absolutely loved this camp and would highly recommend visiting if you are ever in the area.
