This video is about exactly where the DF02 frame needs to be modified, to fit a hard case LiPo battery and how to make those changes with normal hand tools. If you have a dremel or a rotary tool, this is easier to do so you can just see what to cut in the video. The tools used in this video: Razor blade, pliers, chisel. Many people use a LiPo with the Tamiya DF02. (Gravel Hound, Plasma Edge, Rising Storm, Aero Avante). A LiPo can be fastened to the stock chassis but sits poorly and too high up. With basic modification, the batter can sit lower. But to get the batter all the way down with a factory fit, several little details need to be cleared away and in this tutorial, I show them all step by step.
