Instead, it's a reskin of a different game called Doki Doki Panic, and was released in North America as the sequel to the original Super Mario Bros., as Nintendo of America thought the actual sequel (which is known as The Lost Levels today) was too similar to its predecessor and too difficult for the American audience. This is a 00:07.39 second improvement over the previous submission thanks to a new strategy that involves killing the mouser boss with an invincibility star.
