In todays video we are setting up the Alexa Media Player in Home Assistant. This will allow us to make use of TTS (Text to speech), Sound effects and more. I will show you how to use Text to speech in automations with a few examples and ideas and also how to setup the Mini Media player. By the end of this video you should have a basic grasp of using the TTS service calls and be able create your own automations using them. For anyone worried about the blurred parts of the video showing in some areas - don't :P I was experimenting with a new video tool just to see how well it worked. Cheers. WATCHING IN 2022?
