@tdvr educational post: How To Capture HDR Panoramas For VR Display On Oculus Quest Or Rift In Unity A couple of years back I decided to learn how to take high resolution panoramas using High Dynamic Range techniques. I found a session on YouTube by Terry White showing how to do this in Adobe Lightroom, which I use for my photography. I was delighted at the quality of the results - with one I made with 15,317 x 3,963 pixels! I decided to try to make four views inside my house (since it was freezing outside) so made four panoramas at 4Kx3k resolution each consisting of (3) separate HDR images. While tedious and only for still subjects, the final images in Unity looked pretty good.. If you use this video, I hope it saves you a week of frustration too! Try HDR panos - they are fun and results will please you with their quality.
